CloudBeats: Cloud Music Player App Reviews

Best audiobook reader

I used cloudbeats as an audiobook reader. It syncs with most cloud providers and has the ability to download folder for offline use. Just wish the UI was a bit more streamlined and that it would sync bookmarks between devices so I could continue to listen to the same audiobook on a different device. Its still the best out there.

Must Have

This app is a must for anyone who has their music stored in a cloud.

Make it better: Return to actual artists!

Please return it to show artist names and not album artists!

best for dropbox playlist.

the best thing i like most is refrashing newly updated media for offline. go to folder, and just pull down. thats all.

Does exactly what i need and does it well

I have OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, and box drive, all with music. I paired a speaker, opened cloudbeats, logged into the cloud drive and had all my tunes available!

The last update makes this great

I keep my large collection backed up on Google Drive. With the new update it is much easier to access the music I need. Very useful, well made app.

No longer Loads Tracks

As of the most recent update, the app now crashes while a track is loading, making it useless for me. Im on iOS 7.1.2 if that helps.

#1

Easy to use, gets better with every update.

perfect

best of app ever

Excellent functionality

I love that you can speed up or slow down the rate of the audiobook. It is great for listening to school lectures! Two things that I would like to see added – A history of what you have listened to, utility to resume last known location in a file even if you left that file to listen something else

Great app

Very useful for the recording collaborations I do with friends

Love this app

It works flawlessly, playing files from my Dropbox and the developer is constantly updating it.

excellent!

A great tool for those who dont like iTunes. I just drag and drop my songs into a folder on my PC and they show up in my CloudBeats. Worth that purchase!

Best app for cloud listening

I love this app! I use it to keep my Audiobooks and Music across the cloud downloaded on my phone. Best app to do it.

Great for the cloud based music person

I have my entire library in Dropbox and pick the albums and playlists I like with cloudbeats rather than sync with iTunes. Its way easier. Great app.

Missing the point...

I use dropbox to download MP3s for offline use and it remembers EXACTLY where I left off when listening to them. I use this app and it will not remember my place even with the option checked to do so for podcasts and audio books. Its ALWAYS ~15 minutes behind where I left off. Native app (dropbox) is much more reliable. Now it completely forgets my position. Its not worth buying. Dev doesnt respond either.

Thanks for Amazon!!

A large part of my FLAC collection is stored in the cloud with Amazon. Until now I had no way to stream that music. The app is working perfectly. Thank you so much!!

Great app

Finally, I can play my lossless music library from the cloud. Great app!

I really want to like this

The interface is nice and simple, and I thought Id found a great solution for taking the music that I have stored on Dropbox, and showing it as a library organized by artist and album. But when I selected my music folder, it found all the songs to scan, but even after trying to finish the scan for the last few weeks, the app keeps crashing, and doesnt seem to actively index in the background. Maybe I have too much music that it cant sift through it all. Im not sure, but if you have a large music library, keep it in mind. So I have yet to use this app for its intended purpose. Instead, its just a thing I open up from time to time, in hopes that it miraculously works, and I poke around it until it crashes.

Just what I needed

This app meets my specific need as I have MP3s in various locations. It allows me to access them all without shuffling them from location to location just to be able to listen to one or another.
